While you may not need as many workout earbuds as I do, I’ve broken done my recommendations into my top choices in the following categories:

4 Best Workout Bluetooth Earbuds

How many times have you worked out and your bluetooth earbuds crapped out? Or, your wired headphones got stuck on the arm of the elliptical? It’s no secret that the best workout bluetooth earbuds are hard to come by. Headphones can be tricky in general, let alone needing a pair that will withstand the craziness of the gym.

My workout earbud strategy: I always have a few extra pairs of cheap earbuds in case my favorite pair bite the dust and I need a backup pair for the next morning. This means that I’ve tried quite a few different types of workout headphones and use them all for different reasons. I have my favorite pair, my quality pair, my backup pair, and my backup backup pair.

Let’s dive into some of the best workout bluetooth earbuds so that you’re always prepared for your next workout!

My All Time Favorite Go-To:

Plantronics BackBeat FIT Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

To say that I love these headphones is an understatement. I have been using the same pair of Plantronics BackBeat FITs everyday for over 4 years and they’re still going strong. They’ve accompanied me through many marathons, training runs, and torrential downpours.

I have a complete review dedicated to the Plantronics BackBeat FITs where you can read all of my opinions about why they are so great.

To be honest, I’m not sure why they have less than stellar reviews on Amazon. It seems that a batch went out that was defective, which may have been a fluke and driven reviews down.

These are the most reliable and long-lasting headphones I’ve ever found. Aside from their reliability, I also love the fit. I have smaller ears and love how the earbud component stays secure. Based on the design, I can see how they would fit well in larger ears too. The neckband makes me feel safe that I won’t lose an earbud if my workout gets rigorous, but it also stays in place and doesn’t flop around like the others do.

I can’t recommend these workout headphones enough! You’ll see that I don’t have anything listed in “The Bad” list. After 4 years, there is still nothing bad I can same about them.

High Quality Splurge:

Bose SoundSport Free, True Wireless Sport Headphones

We can’t have a list of headphones without including Bose. I know that some people think that Bose headphones are overrated, but I’m still in the starry-eyed, Bose loving category. The audio is great and you know you’re getting a quality product.

These earbuds are true earbuds with no wires or neck straps to worry about. If you’re like me, you’re probably worried that one of your earbuds will fly out while you’re on the treadmill and you’ll have to scour the gym floor to find it.

Well, Bose thought about that. If you lose an earbud, you can tell it to set off an audio alert so you can track it down.

Now, these are not perfect by any means. I would actually favor the other earbuds on this list as opposed to this Bose set. That said, there aren’t that many choices in the high quality splurge arena. With about 3,500 reviews on Amazon, an average 4 star review isn’t too bad, As you’ll see people either love or hate these earbuds, so you’ll have to read the reviews to see which camp you fall into.

Great Budget Choice:

Letsfit Wireless Headphones

I use these as my backup headphones when I forget to charge my Plantronic BackBeat FITs. They aren’t my favorite, but they get the job done! I don’t find them as comfortable or the audio quality as good as the others on the list, but they are very good for how cheap they are.

These wireless workout earbuds have a staggering amount of high reviews. In a lot of cases, you get what you pay for as far as technology is concerned. But, Letsfit Wireless Headphones are an exception to that.

While I’m not a fan of floppy neckbands, a lot of people don’t seem to mind them. For a low price, these babies are waterproof, call enabled, comfortable, and noise cancelling. That’s a lot of bang for your buck!

Meet in the Middle Quality Choice:

ENACFIRE Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless Headphones

If you want a good quality pair of workout earbuds without making a large financial investment, these ENACFIREs are a good choice. With over 2,000 reviews on Amazon with an average of 4.5 stars, these tend to be a fan favorite.

Keep in mind that these earbuds only hold a 4 hour charge outside of the case. The case is a charging case that can give them over 100 hours of playing time, but if you need them to run for over 4 hours without returning them to the case, you may want to choose a different option.

That said, the case has an additional feature which may make a difference. In addition to charging the earbuds, the ENACFIRE case can serve as a powerback for your phone and other electronics.

Overall, users love how durable the earbuds and case feel and are happy with the quality that ENACFIRE delivers.
